Research Activities :
The Dynamics group of the PCMT team is internationally recognized for its expertise in photodissociation dynamics, collisions, as well as in modelling of water and ice and their interactions with solute molecules. The group is also familiar with the MCTDH method which makes it possible to simulate quantum mechanically the dynamics of a molecule with an increasing number of degrees of freedom.
The groupe has carried out several studies on the photodissociation of halogenated molecules at the ice surface with using different approaches (classical, quantum wave packets, MCTDH) and with increasing the complexity of the system.

The group is engaged in the WP2 of the CAPPA labex and will investigate molecular processes at the surface of model aerosols.
