Research themes :

- Last generation VUV/X Free-Electron Lasers
- Spatio-temporal instabilities in relativistic electrons,
novel THz Coherent Synchrotron radiation sources


The activity is running since 2003, in close collaboration with :
- Synchrotron SOLEIL (France)
- ANKA synchrotron radiation facility (Karlsruhe, Germany)
- UVSOR synchrotron radiation facility (Japan)
Recent achievements were also performed in close collaboration with the IMS group of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany), and DELTA (Germany)]


This research has been supported by several funding sources including :
- The Japanese Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS)
- The Agence Nationale de la Recherche (projet Blanc DYNACO 2010-
- LABEX CEMPI (Ministry of Higher Education and Research, Nord-Pas de Calais
